5 Reasons You Need A Photo Booth At Your Wedding

Although they have been around for a while, photo booths still remain an amazing feature at Weddings and events. Last year I was super excited to offer a photo booth service as an extension of my Entertainment Packages, and even though I knew it would be a hit, I realised there were some ‘hidden gems’ that came with hiring a photo booth. Here’s 5 reasons you need a photo booth at your Wedding..

  1. Great Ice Breaker

If you’re planning on inviting quite a few guests to your Wedding, there’s a good chance a lot of them haven’t met before. We see this time after time and something that always seems to break the ice between them is the photo booth! Not only is great for them on the day, but we also encourage them to have a photo together which makes for a great memory for the bride and groom.

2. Add Photos To A Guestbook

This one you will no doubt already know about, but continuing on from the previous point, you can stick all your photo memories from the evening in a Guestbook that the bride and groom can take home. We also advise signing the guestbook at the side of the photo for an even more personalised touch.

3. Capture Memories Long After Your Photographer Goes Home

Chances are, your photographer is going to call it a day once your first dance is over. AND, there’s an even bigger chance that you and your guests are going to be having such a good time together you’ll forget to take any photos! Well, fear no more. The photo booth is here to solve this problem. Not only will a photo booth be a good excuse for you to get a photo together, you’ll probably end up switching it up pulling your family members in with your friends and vice verse, making for some amazing informal photos.

4. Upload To Social Media

The photo booth we own has a share-to-phone feature, making it super super easy for you and your guests to share photos straight from the booth to your phone. Terrible lighting at your venue? Jump on the booth, take a photo with the professional camera and lighting setup and send the photo to yourself and upload to Instagram, voila!

5. Different Style Booths

Long gone are the days of the plain-old-boring photo booths that you usually see at Weddings. Photo booths have come along way in the past couple of years. With a quick search I’m sure you’ll be able to find more than a handful of different booths available near you. Our Retro Mirror Booth, for example, looks like a stunning piece of mid-century inspired furniture. It stands beautifully in both rustic venues and country houses, without compromising on fun. See the photo below!

I thought I’d add a 6th bonus reason. They are quite simply incredibly fun for all age groups! We’ve seen everyone on the booth from babies to grand parents! Insider tip: guests tend to experience much more heightened levels of fun after a day of drinking.
